Vanessa & Colin were first introduced to me through Carmela & Brock the previous summer when I helped out with their wedding. Vanessa & Colin were both in the wedding party so they had seen how I worked.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! Literally the hottest day in June. Guests arrived at St. Clare’s Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.  Very elegant altar arrangements in shades of white and green sat atop two wood pedestals on either side of the altar. These arrangements would be later re-used at the reception

Following the ceremony guests headed to Eagle’s Nest Golf Club for cocktails while the bridal party had photos taken all around the venue. With so much scenic landscape almost every shot was amazing.

The ballroom itself was elegantly decorated with golds, greens and lots of fluffy white flowers. The linens were kept simple and white and guests were gifted with an individual succulent plant to take home. Each terracotta pot was hand wrapped in brown kraft paper and stamped with the couples initials in gold ink and secured with a simple piece of twine.

Vanessa & Colin really wanted to be able to have some photos at twilight on the golf course grounds. With the help of our amazing photographer…when the light was just right, we whisked them away on a golf cart to get some incredible photos.
